You’ve survived the unthinkable.
Now it’s time to grab the reins — of your healing, your now, and your future.
Join me and 6 other female survivors of childhood sexual abuse on a deeply healing retreat October 23-26, 2025 in Battle Creek, MI.
Michigan • October 2025
For 7 fierce women who’ve survived the hardest battles — childhood sexual abuse included.
This is a gathering of seven badass souls ready to drop the weight, tend to their healing with raw intention, and carve out space to breathe. You’ll rest, regroup, and reconnect with your own wisdom — building deep, real connections along the way.
Because sometimes, healing means pausing hard to reset, to gain clarity, and to build confidence to step fully into what’s next.
If that sounds like you - Let’s ride!
Nourish
Real food. Deep breaths. Quiet moments that help you feel yourself again.
Connect
Real talk. Shared healing. A space to show up as you are - and be met with true understanding.
Restore
Yoga, breathwork, meditation, and time in nature — a powerful toolkit to help you shed survival mode and rediscover your true self.
Meet Your Retreat Host
This is a space where healing is allowed to be gentle, honest, and real.
I’m Aunastasia—a trauma therapist, survivor, and the founder of Defying the Odds. I created this retreat for women who are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling whole again.
Showing up is more than half the battle here. Please, come exactly as you are—and know that is more than enough.
With lived experience and deep professional training, I’ll walk alongside you with compassion, trauma-informed care, and tools that help you reconnect with your body, your truth, and your power.
What to Expect
Trauma-informed Approach
Every aspect of the retreat is designed with trauma awareness. Sessions honor your nervous system, respect your boundaries, and create safety for authentic healing.
Healing at Your Pace
Your timeline is respected and honored through everything we do. Find out how to take care of yourself, how to set boundaries, and how to trust your own wisdom.
Small and Safe
Just seven women means real conversations, personal attention, and the chance to be seen and heard exactly as you are.
Reconnect With Your Body
Gentle movement, breathwork, and time alone to help you feel at home in your skin again. Nothing is required except showing up! I’ll say it again, showing up is more than enough!
Ongoing Community
Access to a private group for continued connection and support. The relationships you build here extend beyond the retreat.
Beautiful Setting
A peaceful Michigan location during peak Autumn colors (Eeek!). Space to breathe, reflect, and remember what it feels like to simply be.
